Job summary

AbbVie’s Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team seeks a Senior Engineer, IAM Directory Services to shape enterprise identity architecture across mergers and acquisitions, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to deliver secure identity designs.

You will design federation models, migrate users and devices, and implement automated identity provisioning and deprovisioning during transitions, ensuring seamless access to AbbVie resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with multiple years in information security.
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations.
• Knowledge of security tools, cloud platforms, and identity providers (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
• Familiarity with AD, security governance, and least-privilege policies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to design secure identity architectures.
• Lead onboarding and identity integration for newly acquired entities.
• Design and implement identity federation and trust models across domains.
• Coordinate migration of users, devices, and applications to standardized platforms.
• Develop automation for provisioning and deprovisioning during M&A transitions.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to identity playbooks and standards.
