Job summary

Sable Offshore Corp is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment onsite in the Santa Maria area. The role requires hands-on expertise with control valves, flow meters, 66kV electrical systems, analyzers, and emergency generators.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Oil field experience preferred (4 years).
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation (e.g., control valves, regulators, flow meters, PSV's).
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical devices and systems up to 66kV (transmitters, batteries, UPS, motors, switchgear, breakers, relays, transformers).
Inspect, maintain, and repair analyzers.
Repair radio and microwave sites, including generators.
Assist engineering with projects and system upgrades.
May train and assist less experienced technicians.
May perform other duties outside your discipline.
