Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) System Design Engineer to join their Resilience Water team in Ohio or Detroit. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in I&C and SCADA system design within water/wastewater markets and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field. The role involves project management, design execution, and mentoring junior staff, with a salary range of $88,000 to $150,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of I&C, Automation, SCADA design experience in water/wastewater.
• EIT/Professional Engineer license is required.
• Willingness to travel (25%).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and design services for I&C systems.
• Coordinate with other engineers and prepare technical documents.
• Lead projects including budgeting, planning, and execution.
• Conduct testing and start-up of I&C and SCADA systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
