Job summary

Vistra Energy is seeking an I&C Sr Engineer for the Power Uprate Project at Beaver Valley. The role requires independent work to meet Vistra objectives and supports data gathering and analysis for Vistra initiatives, solving complex problems, and building relationships inside and outside the company.

The position emphasizes development of effective working relationships, safety compliance, and delivering reports and recommendations on complex issues, with senior leadership involvement as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical discipline preferred) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
• Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
• Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees including external organizations
• Lead complex problem - solving efforts
