Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a highly skilled automotive technician to diagnose and repair Hyundai vehicles with minimal supervision. You will lead less-experienced technicians, handle complex diagnostics, and contribute to first-class service experiences for customers.

The role requires 3+ years of experience as an A-level/Master Technician, Hyundai certifications, ASE certifications, and the ability to work independently on complex repairs. Training and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician strongly preferred.
• Proficient with modern vehicle diagnostic systems and Hyundai tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai models including hybrids and EVs.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability issues.
• Complete work to dealership standards and Hyundai factory procedures.
• Use Hyundai diagnostic tools and handheld devices to identify malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Conduct road tests to confirm performance and safety of repairs.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about needed repairs and costs.
• Document all work on repair orders and suggest additional services.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in Hyundai factory training.
