DNOW is seeking a Sr. Hydro Technician to perform hydro testing of pipelines, tanks, and pressure vessels in field and shop environments.

You will set up and operate hydrostatic testing equipment, monitor readings, and help generate detailed test reports for engineering and quality teams. The role requires reading technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to travel to job sites.

Formación

• Experience with hydrostatic or pressure testing in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and test procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pumps, valves, and pressure systems.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail under high-pressure conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate hydrostatic testing equipment to evaluate pipelines, tanks, and vessels.
• Prepare test systems by cleaning, sealing, and filling with water or approved media.
• Monitor gauges, record readings, and identify leaks or weaknesses.
• Interpret results and prepare detailed reports for engineering/quality teams.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during testing.
• Collaborate with field crews, welders, and inspectors to ensure testing efficiency.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment for accuracy and reliability.
