Job summary

Global Electronic Services is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Component Repair Technician to diagnose, rebuild, and test hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components in a dedicated repair shop.

This hands-on bench role focuses on tear down, failure analysis, rebuilding, and performance testing, not preventive maintenance or servicing production equipment; candidates should have 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience repairing and rebuilding hydraulic components from multiple OEM brands.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root causes of hydraulic component failures through tear down, inspection, and testing.
• Rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes, and related components to OEM specifications.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure, and document component wear and failure modes.
• Replace seals, bearings, shafts, and other worn components while maintaining critical tolerances.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, exploded views, and OEM repair manuals.
• Perform bench testing and quality verification of rebuilt components prior to release.
• Complete repair documentation, including findings, parts used, and test results.
• Manage repair projects independently from initial tear down through final testing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized repair shop environment.
