Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate the hybrid infrastructure behind a Digital Twin and Modeling & Simulation platform for military test ranges, spanning AWS GovCloud and VMware on-prem environments. You’ll unify cloud and on-prem workloads, ensure security, accreditation readiness, and collaborate with DevOps, backend, and solution architects.

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years in platform, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• 2+ years administering VMware environments (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter).
• 2+ years deploying workloads in AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EKS/ECS).
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters in cloud or on-prem.
• Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree
