OmniOn Power Inc. in Plano, TX seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive advanced power system technologies, including HVDC, solid-state protection, and high-efficiency switching topologies.

You will lead a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver robust power solutions. The role reports to the R&D Systems Manager and requires strong communication, hands-on design, and a track record of moving designs from concept through to production in industrial power

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field; 7+ years in power electronics or power system design.
• Proven experience taking products from concept through development to production.
• Experience with LTspice, Windchill and Creo.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new products with architecture definition, circuit concepts, schematics, and validation through lab testing and characterization.
• Design and implement HVDC circuits and solid-state protection solutions for DC systems.
• Select and apply discrete power devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN) optimizing efficiency, reliability and cost.
• Develop ground fault detection methods and protection schemes with firmware collaboration.
• Design high-accuracy analog/digital circuits for voltage, current, and temperature sensing.
