Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our facilities. You will install new units or replacement parts following safety guidelines and company standards.

Applicants should have at least five years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. EPA Type I/II refrigerant recovery certification is preferred, and clear communication is essential for coordinating with maintenance teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of full-time experience in HVAC or refrigeration maintenance.
• EPA Type I and Type II refrigerant recovery certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Overhauls and services HVAC, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Replace motors, thermostats, and humidistat as needed.
• Repair worn parts on condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Test refrigeration equipment for refrigerant leaks.
