Job summary

Design Hire LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential systems. You will communicate clearly with customers and document work in our service management platform.

Approximately 85% of the workload is residential, with 15% light commercial service. Opportunities exist for career growth, ongoing training, and potential ownership for the right teammate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC service experience, preferably residential heating/cooling.
• Familiar with furnaces, AC, heat pumps, refrigeration, thermostats and related components.
• Excellent communication with customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Clean driving record with ability to travel ~75 miles of Salt Lake City.
• EPA certification, plumbing experience, and HVAC licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify failures, then provide repair or replacement options.
• Present service options professionally following the company process.
• Document findings and work in the service management system.
• Assist with HVAC installations and light commercial work when needed.
