Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in the construction industry.
• EPA Certification as an HVAC Technician.
• Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance, chillers, boilers and screw chillers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and cooling units for commercial/industrial clients and diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation locations and ensure compliance with specs and codes.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, boilers, and HVAC equipment; service evaporative coolers.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of all HVAC equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with clients about repairs and preventative maintenance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep records of work activities and procurement of parts and equipment.
