Job summary

Snipps Heating & Air Conditioning in Montrose, CO, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems across the Western Slope. This senior role involves managing a full service route, troubleshooting diverse makes and models, and representing Snipps professionally in customers’ homes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience.
• Experience servicing boilers and hydronic heating systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• NATE certification and/or manufacturer training preferred but not required.
• Good understanding of gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and ductless systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ductless mini-splits.
• Service boilers and hydronic systems, including pumps, zone valves, aquastats and control wiring.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and routine maintenance visits.
• Explain system issues and repair options in plain language to customers in their homes.
• Maintain accurate work orders, service notes, and parts records in the field.
• Follow safety codes and manufacturer specifications on every job.
• Keep the service vehicle clean and stocked with tools and parts.
