Job summary

Entek HVAC is seeking an Experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to perform complex diagnostics, installation, and repair across light commercial to industrial systems in the Pacific Northwest. You’ll lead with expertise, troubleshoot effectively, and mentor junior techs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years hands-on commercial HVAC experience.
  • EPA 608 Certification and WA 06A license are required.
  • NATE certification and factory training on major equipment brands are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex diagnostics, installations, and repairs of systems from light commercial to industrial.
  • Advanced diagnostics and repair of HVAC/R equipment.
  • Mentor junior technicians and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Manage preventive maintenance and energy efficiency for large properties.
  • Communicate with facility managers to explain repairs, quotes, and upgrades.
  • Represent Entek with professionalism and urgency on every job.

What You'll Do
  • A Senior HVAC Technician leads complex diagnostics, installations, and repairs of systems from light commercial to complex industrial systems.
  • Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshooting heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and light commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Supporting junior technicians, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring workplace safety standards are met.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Managing central plant operations to maximize equipment uptime and energy efficiency for large properties.
  • Client Communication: Interacting directly with facility managers to explain repairs, provide quotes, and recommend system upgrades
  • Represent Entek with professionalism, customer-first mindset, and urgency on every job
What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 8–10 years of hands‑on commercial HVAC experience
  • EPA 608 Certification & WA 06A license (required)
  • NATE & factory training on major equipment brands are highly preferred.
  • Advanced start-up, warranty, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across commercial HVAC systems
  • Deep knowledge of electrical schematics, refrigerant handling, brazing/welding, and HVAC software/controls.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
