CoolSys in Rockford, IL is seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across commercial systems. You will work on air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, walk-ins, and related equipment.

Requires 3+ years of commercial experience, active EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely at elevated locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment (air conditioning, boilers, chillers, walk-ins, etc.).
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and execute corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers and team members to minimize downtime and ensure quality service.
• Maintain clean, safe work environments and comply with all safety procedures.
