Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior HVAC Project Engineer for commercial and industrial systems in the Fox Valley / Northeast WI area.

Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 per year with a flexible 1st shift and full benefits in a debt‑free, industry leader environment. You will lead engineering design, load calculations, boiler/chiller plant design, piping and air distribution, and bid support while directly consulting with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Registered Professional Engineer (PE), or State‑Licensed HVAC Designer.
• 3+ years of hands‑on commercial/industrial HVAC design experience, ideally in a fast‑paced mechanical contracting setting.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD, Revit, specialized HVAC load calculation software, and Excel.
• Outstanding presentation skills and comfort collaborating directly with project executives, facility managers, and vendor partners.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform site walkthroughs within ~1 hour of the Fox Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Scope & Feasibility Analysis: analyze inquiries and site requirements to determine project scope and propose HVAC solutions.
• System Engineering & Design: design HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities including plants, laboratories, offices, and warehouses.
• Engineering Calculations: perform load calculations, air distribution sizing, boiler/chiller design, piping layouts, and steam routing.
• Bid Support & Modeling: develop schematic designs and CAD/Revit models to help estimating teams establish labor and material costs.
• Client Presentation & Scope Drafting: draft technical proposals and present concepts to owners, general contractors, and plant managers.
• Plan Review & Compliance: coordinate drawings and ensure compliance with regional mechanical and energy codes.
