Job summary

ContractStaffingRecruiters.com is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/HVAC in Middletown, CT to design and layout mechanical systems under the direction of the Project Manager. The role focuses on building energy performance, coordination with clients, and applying NFPA, IBC and ASHRAE standards using AutoCAD and Revit.

You will review other teams’ designs, mentor junior staff, travel to sites as needed, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent degree or experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven design experience in building operation, energy use, building mechanical systems and building automation systems.
• Must be able to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, functional and administrative project aspects.
• Review other teams' designs and provide guidance.
• Perform design work using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Provide technical support and mentor junior staff.
