Job summary

The University of Oklahoma in downtown Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior HVAC Mechanic to join Harold Hamm Health Campus. You will inspect, test, maintain, repair and calibrate mechanical refrigeration and equipment, air conditioning, heating, compressed air and vacuum systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 24 months refrigeration experience.
• Current State of Oklahoma HVAC License.
• Federal EPA refrigeration certification.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, repair and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Install and service air conditioning, heating, compressed air and vacuum systems.

Job description

Pay Range: Targeted pay up to $29.04 per hour, based upon experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, some on-call, weekends, snow/ice duty and overtime may be required. May be designated as an essential personnel during emergency campus closures.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, Vo-Tech or Trade School Certification.
• 24 months refrigeration experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Current State of Oklahoma HVAC License.
