Job summary

CAROLINA HVAC and Electrical is seeking a skilled HVAC Lead Installer to oversee and perform the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will lead a crew, ensure installations meet codes, and verify functionality through testing and inspections.

You will mentor junior installers, coordinate with project managers, maintain safety standards, and keep detailed records of progress, materials, and time on site. Strong leadership and EPA 608 certification required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of HVAC installation experience, residential and commercial.
• EPA 608 certification and relevant state/local licenses.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities for installers.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical manuals for installations.
• Excellent communication and professional customer interaction.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform HVAC installations including furnaces, A/C, heat pumps and ductwork.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, standards, and manufacturer specs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and inspect systems to verify proper operation.
• Train and supervise junior installers, enforcing safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and budgets.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and accurate progress records.
