Job summary
Amstel Mechanical Contractors is seeking HVAC Installers and Service Technicians with a minimum of 7 years of residential and commercial HVAC installation and service experience at our New Castle, DE location. The role requires a high school diploma and valid driver’s license, with on-call duties and potential overtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- HVAC program training or apprenticeship is a plus.
- Current HVAC certification/license and/or minimum 7 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC systems for safety and effectiveness.
- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects in HVAC systems.
- Perform warranty services and maintain inventory of HVAC parts and resources.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Work after hours, weekends, and holidays on call as required.
