Job summary
Skradski Heating & Cooling in Omaha, NE seeks a full-time Shop/Warehouse Associate to support HVAC ductwork fabrication, inventory control, and equipment staging in a hybrid role. You will operate CNC plasma equipment, cut and fabricate duct components, manage shop labor, and coordinate with installation teams to keep projects on schedule.
Strong detail, safety, and teamwork are essential. Salary ranges from $21.00 to $33.00 per hour with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401K, paid
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC ductwork and layout.
- Experience operating CNC plasma machine.
- Licensed Journeyman.
- Duct and flashing fabrication.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Willingness to pursue continuing education.
Responsibilities
- Build and design ductwork for residential, commercial and new construction jobs.
- Manage inventory and cleanliness of shop and materials.
- Assist with over-the-counter sales.
- Estimate duct work jobs (residential, commercial, new construction).
- Coordinate purchasing, staging, and organizing equipment and parts.
- Work with installation department on daily job coordination.
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs.
