Job summary

Requirements include a BSME, PE or state-licensed HVAC designer status, 3+ years of relevant design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel. On-site with flexible first shift, regular site visits within ~1 hour of Fox Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or State-licensed HVAC Designer
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC load calculation software, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Analyze project scope and site requirements to define HVAC solutions
• Design high-performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities
• Perform load calculations, air distribution sizing, piping/layouts, and boiler/chiller design
• Develop schematic designs and CAD/Revit models for bids and client proposals
• Draft technical proposals and present concepts to owners, GCs, and plant managers
• Coordinate drawings and plan reviews to ensure compliance with mechanical/energy codes
