Job summary

gpac is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator for commercial HVAC projects in the New York area. You will lead mechanical projects from initiation through execution, coordinating with in-house sheet metal fabrication, service, and installation teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong estimating skills, experience with change orders and design-build, and excellent organization and communication.

Qualifications

Proven PM and estimating experience in commercial mechanical construction.
Experience handling change orders and design-build projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fully in-house fabrication to installation environment.

Responsibilities

Manage HVAC mechanical projects from start to finish including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
Prepare accurate estimates and manage change orders to keep projects on budget.
Oversee design-build processes as part of integrated project delivery.
Collaborate closely with an in-house full HVAC shop, which includes sheet metal fabrication, service departments, and installation teams to ensure smooth project completion.
Use tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore to streamline communications and project documentation.
