Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Specialist to lead startup, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems for medium to large projects. You will diagnose electronic and HVAC control issues, develop programming, and document field changes.

The role includes customer interaction, training, and advising on upgrades and retrofits. Qualified candidates have extensive BAS experience, a related degree or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
• Two-year offset by experience acceptable with a related degree.
• 7–10 years of experience in servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to coordinate work of others on multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and system support for BAS projects.
• Start up, test, diagnose, and commission from system-level controllers to end devices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues related to BAS.
• Prepare and submit commissioning docs, punch lists, and As-Builts.
• Mentor less experienced specialists and support knowledge transfer.
• Assist sales with technical recommendations for retrofits and enhancements.
