Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for High Voltage Power Electronics development and validation. The role focuses on maturing testing methods, writing standard operating procedures, and guiding the team on best practices within HV inverter modules.

The candidate will lead technical documentation, DFMEA/DRBTR activities, and continuous improvement initiatives while staying abreast of industry trends and regulations. On-site in Auburn Hills, MI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated expert‑level technical report‑writing ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams or SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of DVP&R, DRBTR, and DFMEA creation & execution.
  • Knowledge of High Voltage Power Electronics devices and construction, especially High Voltage Power Inverter Modules.
  • Be available full‑time, on‑site at the CTC location in Auburn Hills, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Become the subject matter expert for High Voltage Power Electronics development & validation methods and practices, emphasizing HV inverter modules.
  • Author and publish technical documents like SOPs and validation specifications.
  • Define performance and durability requirements for HV Inverter Modules.
  • Provide technical direction during DFMEA and DRBTR activities.
  • Lead virtual engineering activities and mentor team members on best practices.
  • Monitor industry trends, standards and regulations relevant to HV power electronics.
  • Collect and present engineering data from tests and experiments.
  • Author incident reports in the Stellantis tracking system for DVP& R findings.
  • Understand accelerated testing and reliability demonstrations and perform related calculations.
  • Write work orders and procurement requests for outsourced testing.
