GXO Logistics, Inc. in New Albany, OH is seeking a Senior Generalist, Human Resources to oversee staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and maintain a union-free environment. You’ll partner with operations to deliver compliant HR services.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2 years of HR experience including compensation, HRIS, benefits administration, payroll and employee relations.
• Experience with HRIS and time/attendance systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• Counsel and guide policies, procedures and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements with operations team.
• Keep management and operations apprised of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.

Split Shift, Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

As the Senior Generalist, Human Resources, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of Human Resources (HR) activities, including staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and maintaining a union-free work environment. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Work closely with the operations team and provide counsel and guidance regarding policies, procedures and state and federal regulatory compliance requirements

Keep management and operations apprised of internal and external HR developments that may impact overall effectiveness

Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience

Assist supervisors with performance management, including delivering disciplinary action for hourly employees

What you need to succeed at GXO :

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

2 years of HR experience, including compensation, HRIS administration, HR management, benefits administration, payroll and employee relations

Experience working in HRIS and time/attendance systems

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

It’d be great if you also have:

Professional HR certification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
