Job summary

Booming Games is hiring a Game Developer to join our fully remote, CET-friendly team. You will contribute to online casino slots, translating game designs into engaging HTML5 experiences using TypeScript and PixiJS/Phaser.

You will work within a cross-functional crew, manage features with JIRA, and ensure high quality through testing and optimization. As a senior contributor, you will report to the Frontend Games Team Lead and collaborate with producers, art directors, and QA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Game Development experience and 5+ years in development overall.
• Fluent in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6) and HTML5/CSS3.
• Highly experienced with PixiJS, Phaser, or equivalent.
• Complete fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Git, JIRA (or equivalent) and GSuite.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HTML5 games from GDDs.
• Break down features into work items and manage via JIRA tickets.
• Ensure tasks fit within a week and align with estimates.
• Implement game features using TypeScript; document with JSDoc.
• Use PIXI.js for rendering; collaborate with Art/Tech teams.
• Maintain code quality, tests, and performance; optimize assets.
• Collaborate with producers, art directors, and QA; demo for Product Owners.
