Prolific seeks a Senior HTML/CSS Developer to join its Expert Network, evaluating and refining AI-generated frontend code. You will assess semantic structure, accessibility, and maintainability while collaborating with researchers and designers.

A strong background in HTML/CSS, frontend engineering, and responsive layouts is required. You will render and audit AI outputs, provide structured feedback on design systems, and help ensure high-quality frontend implementations across platforms.

Qualifications

• Educational background: a BSc or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or closely related field.
• Professional experience as a Senior Frontend Developer or UI Engineer specializing in HTML/CSS.
• Coding proficiency: build complex, responsive layouts and components without reliance on frameworks.
• Deep domain knowledge: CSS cascade, specificity, box model, Flexbox, Grid, WCAG, cross-browser compatibility.
• Code quality: semantic markup, maintainable CSS, BEM, tokens, modern CSS standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated HTML/CSS for functional correctness, semantic structure, and best practices.
• Validate logic and reasoning of layout solutions and styling approaches.
• Conduct rendering tests across environments to verify visuals and cross-browser behavior.
• Annotate model performance by identifying inaccessible markup or deprecated properties.
• Refine technical logic for responsive design, component architecture, and design systems.
