Job summary

Powell Industries seeks an HSE Coordinator to support Safety, Health and Environmental programs across divisions. You will assist with program implementation, audits, safety meetings, incident investigations, and training to promote a safe workplace.

You will partner with the HSE Manager and Manufacturing Director to maintain compliance with OSHA and related regulations, develop risk assessments, and drive continual improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
• Familiarity with environmental, health and safety compliance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of safety, health and environmental programs.
• Schedule and conduct safety meetings and audits.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and conduct safety orientations.
• Lead safety committee meetings and participate in emergency response planning.
• Investigate incidents and prepare summary reports with corrective actions.
