Cushing Terrell seeks a Senior Human Resource Manager to partner with senior leaders across offices, driving strategic HR programs and organizational design. This in-office role focuses on executive coaching, complex employee relations, and growth as the firm expands across markets.

With 15+ years in HR and 8+ years in strategic partnering, you will lead succession planning, workforce strategy, and critical leadership development while navigating multi-state employment laws and regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in HR, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 8+ years in HRBP or strategic partnering
• Experience supporting senior executives and regional leaders
• Deep knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory risk
• Experience leading complex, sensitive workplace investigations and employee relations matters
• Executive presence to counsel and influence senior leaders with confidence and care

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior practice leaders, regional executives, and functional leaders
• Translate enterprise strategy into multi-year people strategies and workforce plans
• Partner with leadership on complex organizational design and senior leader transitions
• Lead succession planning, bench assessment, and readiness planning for leadership roles
• Partner on hiring, leveling, and onboarding for principal and regional leader roles
• Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness and team building
• Lead high-risk employee relations matters and workplace investigations with legal
• Advise on complex performance management, transitions, and separations
• Support M&A people diligence, integration planning, and change management
• Help build and lead a growing HR function team
