Modernistic Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our growing team, working from Grand Rapids or Plainwell, MI. You will oversee HR functions across the state, lead recruiting efforts, and recruit as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR management or generalist experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Michigan and federal employment laws.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee benefit administration and serve as primary contact with benefit vendors.
• Handle employee issue resolution and guidance to leadership and staff.
• Ensure OSHA and safety compliance across all six locations.
• Maintain OSHA logs, workers' comp claims, and FMLA leave.
