Job summary

Dexter is seeking an HR professional to support daily HR operations at a manufacturing facility or multi-site operation. You will assist with recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support onboarding processes.

You will also help maintain HR records, develop Excel-based reports and dashboards, and analyze workforce data to guide leadership decisions. The role requires strong data skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin or related field.
• 4+ years of HR experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Experience recruiting for hourly and salaried roles.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus, bilingual a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility or multi-site operation.
• Help support recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support talent acquisition strategies.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, retention efforts, recognition programs, and workforce communication activities.
• Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare, update, and analyze HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, time-to-fill, retention, and other key workforce trends.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based HR reports, trackers, and analytics dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
• Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements related to staffing, engagement, and retention.
• Support performance management, training coordination, and other employee development initiatives.
• Assist with policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Partner with payroll, benefits, safety, and operations teams as needed to support overall employee experience.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts across the department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Must have 4+ years of HR experience required, with experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Skills / Knowledge We're Looking For

• Proven experience in recruiting for hourly and/or salaried roles.
• Experience supporting employee engagement programs and initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present HR data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, filtering, sorting, and reporting.
• Experience in creating and managing data reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
• Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
• English / Bilingual a plus

Working Conditions

Travel is minimal. Infrequent-only as needed for training
