Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking exceptional candidates to develop and optimize cutting-edge algorithms for massively parallel multi-physics codes on heterogeneous HPC platforms. You will perform research and development, implement methods into production codes, test and validate, and support users in adopting these methods.

Required are a Master’s degree in a STEM field with 6 years of relevant experience, advanced C++ proficiency, and a track record in securing funding for projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced C++ expertise including template metaprogramming and modern standards.
• Experience with parallel HPC and heterogeneous architectures.
• Ability to mentor students, postdocs and junior staff.
• Proven track record securing funding for projects and leading initiatives.
• Experience with multi-physics codes and software engineering practices.

Responsibilities
