Job summary

EPAM Systems, a leading tech services company, seeks a senior infrastructure engineer to scale Kubernetes platforms across cloud providers. You will design and operate systems powering GPUs, ensuring reliability in a high-growth environment.

You will work with Python, Go, Rust or C++, Terraform, and CI/CD to automate multi-cloud ops and collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure, scalable infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms or HPC environments.
• Expert-level Kubernetes experience at scale with node pool sizing and upgrades.
• Production-grade tooling experience in Python, Go, Rust or C++.
• Terraform and IaC proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, EFS).
• Strong site reliability engineering background with monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Operate and scale Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE, and other distributions) including cluster lifecycle management and networking policies.
• Provision and manage HPC infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines across AWS, CoreWeave, GCP, OCI, and other clouds.
• Design and maintain job scheduling systems that efficiently allocate GPU compute resources.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, build monitoring/alerting, and participate in incident reviews.
• Develop production-grade tooling to support multi-cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Collaborate daily with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML teams for delivery.
