Job summary

Vero is seeking a Senior HPC Linux Engineer (GPU) to operate and scale large GPU-based AI infrastructure. You will provision, validate, and troubleshoot GPU servers across racks and regions, ensuring high performance and reliability for mission-critical workloads.

In this remote US role, you will advance automation, contribute to runbooks, and collaborate with teams shaping cutting-edge AI infrastructure and data-centre capabilities.

Qualifications

• Linux expertise required for large-scale HPC platforms.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure administration.
• Familiarity with Slurm workload manager and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and system performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Perform node imaging, bring-up, health checks, and lifecycle management across GPU systems.
• Run GPU validation, including health checks, NVLink validation, NCCL tests, and performance benchmarking.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex faults.
• Maintain accurate configuration, inventory, and fleet records.
• Support the deployment of new racks, clusters, and regional expansions.
• Improve automation, runbooks, and operational processes.
