Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or proficiency in Refrigeration, HVAC, Commercial Kitchen Equipment Repair and/or Central Plant Maintenance.
• Four years of mechanical maintenance or related experience, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to use basic math, basic computer skills, and read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and complex repairs in and around the hotel requiring proficiency in MEP equipment maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC).
• Maintain accurate records of work orders and tasks; ensure compliance with OSHA and fire & safety laws.
• Respond to guest requests for service/repair and escalate to management when needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; keep tools in good working order.
• Inspect and replace parts across the property as required; notify management of major system issues.
