Job summary

BKV Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Hospitality Designer with 12+ years of hospitality interior design experience to lead a wide range of hospitality projects within our growing national practice.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, well‑rounded interior designer and project manager who thrives in a collaborative environment, mentors junior designers, communicates clearly with clients and stakeholders, and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from accredited university required.
• CID license and registration required.
• Proficiency with Revit; basic knowledge of BIM 360 and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review project budget with Project Lead or Partner at start of project and develop PMP.
• Develop Visioning packages to establish aesthetic direction and communicate them to project leads.
• Determine program requirements with client and Project Lead and understand function, FF&E implications.
• Develop functional, innovative environments through space planning.
• Advise on finishes and materials and implement cohesive design palettes.
• Specify furniture, artwork and FF&E and assist owner in procurement as needed.
• Coordinate design intent with other disciplines for QA and completeness.
• Oversee production of interior construction documents and final scope with Project Lead.
• Create 3D renderings, elevations, and plans to communicate design to owner.
