Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead on-site security operations and ensure a safe hospital environment. The role reports to the Security Manager and involves field investigations, emergency drills, and staff training.

The candidate will supervise officers, respond to incidents, enforce hospital policies, and collaborate with internal teams and law enforcement. Strong English communication and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of security-related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shift security operations and directs officers.
• Responds to security emergencies and conducts drills.
• Patrols facilities and enforces hospital policies.
• Conducts risk assessments and provides escorts for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Liaises with internal partners and law enforcement as needed.
• Writes incident and activity reports with accuracy.
