Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a lead/supervisory position.
• Housekeeping experience required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, record keeping, adjustment, and maintenance of power equipment.
• Hospital work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital cleaning duties according to schedule and procedures.
• Transport and secure trash, biohazardous waste and soiled linen.
• Operate equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care.
• Greet patients, families and staff to support a friendly environment.
• Float as needed to other Southwest Health facilities.
