Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Distribution Technician 3 to perform routine and technical duties for hospital-wide supply and instrument distribution. You will stock, inventory, and dispense supplies and equipment for clinical areas, and help coordinate the work of the Distribution staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of experience in medical supply acquisition and inventory control, with on-site work at the TGH Main Campus in Tampa.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years experience in supply acquisition and inventory control in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock, inventory, and dispense supplies and equipment for clinical areas.
• Assist in organizing, coordinating, and directing work for Distribution staff.
• Serve as a resource person with knowledge of sterile supplies handling.
• Make departmental decisions in the absence of a supervisor.
