Job summary

Stand Out Home Care in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a compassionate Senior Home Caregiver to provide personal care and support to a woman in her home. The role focuses on comfort, dignity, and independence, with evening and weekend hours.

Schedule: Weekdays 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, Saturdays 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, total about 19 hours per week. Responsibilities include meals, light housekeeping, bathing and dressing aid, companionship, errands, mobility assistance, health monitoring, and strict privacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Boulder, CO.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain client privacy and dignity.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check required.
• References from previous caregiving positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties (cleaning, laundry, tidying living spaces).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Provide attentive companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Run errands as needed (grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, etc.).
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, mood, or well-being.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
