Job summary

77 consultants seeks a seasoned High-Net-Worth Tax Supervisor or Manager to lead intricate engagements for affluent individuals, families, and related entities. The role interfaces with clients, tax department partners, team members, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Active CPA designation or Enrolled Agent credential.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years public accounting experience.
• Experience at the Tax Supervisor, Tax Manager, or a comparable level.
• Proven track record working with high-net-worth individuals and related entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex tax engagements from planning to final delivery.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax projects and deliverables.
• Develop understanding of client operations, investments, family structures, and tax obligations.
• Prepare, review, and manage returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and deliverables.
• Supervise tax activities involving individuals, trusts, estates, gifts, partnerships, corporations, and related entities.
• Create and review sophisticated tax-planning projections for high-net-worth clients and business entities.
• Liaise with the IRS and state tax agencies regarding audits and inquiries.
• Contribute to business development by engaging with prospective clients and drafting proposals.
• Report to tax partners and guide junior staff in technical accounting and tax matters.
