Job summary

GSA is seeking a Hiring Assessment Program Manager to develop and validate hiring assessments for a range of occupations and grades. The role focuses on reliability, fairness, and job-relatedness using rigorous research methods and data analysis.

The incumbent will lead the creation of tests, questionnaires, and rating scales used for hiring, promotion, and placement across several locations. The ideal candidate will apply organizational psychology principles, conduct high-level research on job

Qualifications

• Basic requirements include a bachelor’s or higher degree with a major in Psychology.
• Specialized experience at the GS-13 level in psychology or related field is required.
• Ability to design, implement, and validate personnel assessment tools.
• Experience advising on evidence-based assessment and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine hiring assessments, tests, questionnaires, and rating scales.
• Lead research on job market trends and legal/technological advances affecting assessments.
• Analyze data to ensure reliability, validity, fairness, and utility of tools.
