Overview

As a Senior Highway Roadway Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects—including complex roadways, bikeways, and utility design—while receiving full backing from an engaged leadership team. Your responsibilities will span traffic engineering, stormwater management, drainage, temporary traffic control, traffic signals, construction observation, cost estimating, and construction administration on large, challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing large multidisciplinary highway reconstruction projects, both traditional bid‑build and alternate delivery (Design‑Build, PPP, etc.)
• Working with contractors to deliver Design‑Build projects
• Training and mentoring junior staff in various aspects of highway design
• Assisting with the production and delivery of transportation projects through the construction administration phase
• Pre‑design project planning and financial management
• Designing highways and roads, including development of geometric layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and environmental permitting
• Developing technical design and specification documents

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; master’s degree preferred
• 11‑15+ years of experience
• PE licensed

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Watertown, MA is $150,000–200,000. Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications, education, and experience.
