Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is seeking a Senior Alternative Delivery Design Engineer to provide engineering design services for design-build highway projects in collaboration with Pursuit and Estimating Teams.

You will lead roadway design for major transportation projects, develop alternative concepts, and ensure designs meet RFP requirements while coordinating with project managers and consultants to quantify scope and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of progressive roadway design experience.
• Experience with Microstation and InRoads; BIM modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design for major transportation projects and review roadway models.
• Coordinate with design, pursuit, and estimating teams to develop compliant designs.
• Develop alternative concepts and ATCs; compare against baselines; ensure proposals and designs meet RFP requirements.
• Assist in coordinating design deliverables with consultants and quantifying scope for project components.
