Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking an Engineer 3 with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Pennsylvania PE license (or the ability to secure PA PE) plus a minimum of eight years of post-baccalaureate experience. Potential work locations include Cranberry or Homestead, PA, and the engineer will develop, coordinate, and manage highway design efforts and prepare construction plans and project estimates.

The role requires oversight of scopes, budgets, and schedules, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering (required).
• 8+ years of post-baccalaureate experience in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with engineering projects and mentor staff.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for tasks and coordinate staffing.
• Design development and review of highway geometry using CAD and AASHTO guidance.
• May serve as a Task Manager on small projects.
