Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with parents, students and staff.
  • Previous coaching experience preferred.
  • Willingness to accept and follow direction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • General office skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates successful practices and attends meets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff in support of the Head Coach.
  • Encourage student participation and establish rapport.
  • Motivate participants/athletes to achieve maximum potential.
  • Work collaboratively with Head Coach, Activities Director, families and community resources.
  • Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Complies with and supports all school district regulations and policies.
  • Other duties as determined by the Head Coach.
