Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• 7+ years of industry experience in signal integrity.
• Experience with high-speed connectors in communications equipment is a plus.
• Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators and such equipment.
• Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MATLAB, and ADS.
• Hands-on frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects
• Component development as well as customer support on new product introduction
• Collaborate to a multi-disciplinary team on next generation high speed I/O interconnect products
• Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows
• Collaborate multi-disciplinary teams in development of next generation high speed I/O interconnect products
• Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high speed data transmission requirements
• Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layout
• Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verification of products
• Apply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high-speed digital design
