TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to lead end-to-end PCB design, layout, and documentation with a focus on high-speed digital designs. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver manufacturable boards for data centers and telecom platforms.

The role requires expertise in Altium Designer, impedance control, EMI/EMC compliance, and fabrication documentation, with a hybrid work setup in Middletown, USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in PCB design or 6+ with Master’s degree, focusing on high-speed designs.
• Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout.
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, DFMs.
• Experience with documentation packages (Gerbers, BOMs, fabrication drawings).
• Strong understanding of impedance, crosstalk, differential routing, and return paths.
• Familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PCB design from concept through production release.
• Define stack-ups, routing, and layout rules to ensure SI/PI and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Create and maintain fabrication drawings, BOMs, and documentation packages.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate schematics into manufacturable layouts.
• Work with fabrication and assembly vendors to validate manufacturability and cost.
• Conduct design reviews and implement corrective actions per IPC/IEEE standards.
• Troubleshoot design and fabrication issues and drive continuous improvement.
