Job summary

Insight Global seeks a skilled Compression/Equipment Technician to support natural gas compression assets. The role focuses on keeping compressors, engines, pumps, and other rotating equipment online to prevent production downtime.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and implement repairs while coordinating with operations and engineering to maximize uptime. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in high-speed gas compressor maintenance, 1–3 years in rotating equipment

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed gas compressors.
1–3 years in industrial maintenance for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).
Experience with Caterpillar and/or Waukesha engines and Ariel compressor packages.
Experience maintaining high-speed compressors and engines in 500–2500 HP range.
Familiarity with MOC, PSSR, procedures, audits and SAP PM experience.
Experience managing maintenance work orders or equipment backlog.

Responsibilities

Keep compressors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment running safely and reliably.
Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical failures.
Carry out repairs and identify ways to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with operations and engineering to monitor compressor performance and uptime.
